Brian R. Iverson (JD '08) selected as Litigation Counsel of America Fellow

July 20, 2016 -- Pepperdine Law alumnus Brian R. Iverson (JD '08) has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).  Iverson is an attorney at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, Pepperdine Law Alumnus Brian Iversonlocated in Washington, D.C.  The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society that selects Fellows based on excellence and accomplishment in trial and appellate litigation and superior ethical reputation.

Iverson concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of disputes in federal courts, state courts, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings. His practice focuses on intellectual property, financial services, government contracts, and other complex disputes at the trial and appellate levels across the country. Iverson is an Assistant Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group and a member of its Pro Bono Committee, coordinating pro bono services for the Veterans Consortium, the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program, and the Wounded Warrior Project. He earned a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law (2008), magna cum laude, and a B.B.A. from Belmont University (2005), cum laude. His other honors include selection as a "Rising Star" in the 2014-2016 editions of Washington D.C. Super Lawyers.
