Black Women and the Law Summit | November 6

All are invited to attend the inaugural Black Women and the Law Summit, "Invisibly Visible...Black Women in the Law Matter," hosted by Pepperdine Caruso School of Law online via Zoom, on Friday, November 6, 2020, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. PST. This summit will provide a forum for the examination of the status of Black women, focusing on the impact of legal and systemic barriers to societal and professional advancement, while celebrating historic contributions to law and society. Summit presenters will educate, illuminate, and offer strategies and solutions for Black women's success in the legal field and in law school. This informative day will equip all participants, including Black women's allies, to mobilize in a Call to Action to open pathways for success and elevate Black women's contributions to the legal profession and to our larger society. The day will conclude with a virtual networking hour.
