Andrew Schafer Named as Terry M. Giles Honor Scholar

Pepperdine Caruso Law third-year student Andrew Schafer has been named the 2022 Terry M. Giles Honor Scholar. The Terry M. Giles Honor Scholar Program is provided each year by Pepperdine Caruso Law alumnus and Pepperdine University Board of Regents member Terry M. Giles (JD '74). Mr. Giles provides the awards to graduating Caruso Law students for excellence in appellate or trial team experience and leadership. 

Andrew is the Managing Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review and a member of the Pepperdine Moot Court Team. He also participates in Caruso Law outreach, particularly towards members of the military. Following graduation, Andrew will serve as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Truncale at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
