Amber Les and Talia Lux Advance to Nationals in Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition

February 15, 2019 | Pepperdine Law second-year students Amber Les and Talia Lux finished as one of the top two oralist teams in the Los Angeles Region to advance to Nationals in the 2019 Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. Over 80 teams competed in six regions across the country, and only 12 teams, including Les and Lux, advanced to the National rounds, which will be held in Washington, D.C. on March 16. Les and Lux argued in front of various judges presiding on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, including the Honorable Dale S. Fischer, the Honorable Dolly M. Gee, and the Honorable Karen L. Stevenson.  Dual JD/MBA candidate Hunter Armour helped write and edit the team's brief for the competition. The annual Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition is sponsored by the International Trademark Association.
