MINNEAPOLIS – September 22, 2016 – Earlier this week, Foley & Mansfield – a national law firm with more than 20 years of litigation and transactional experience – announced the addition of Mark Sayre to its roster of accomplished trial attorneys. Sayre will be based in the company's Los Angeles office and will focus his practice on product liability and toxic and mass tort litigation, including asbestos defense.
Before joining Foley & Mansfield, Sayre was a founding partner at Valorem Law Group, LLC where he defended a variety of product manufacturers in toxic tort, asbestos and property damage cases. During that time, he also acted as national coordinating counsel, directing local firms in state and federal court litigation on behalf of national and international publicly traded companies. As an experienced asbestos litigator, Sayre has been a speaker at the DRI Asbestos Medicine Conference, Harris Martin Publishing Asbestos Conference and the National Asbestos Litigation Conference. He is also a court qualified expert witness in legal malpractice actions on the issue of standard of care for litigation attorneys.
Outside the legal field, Sayre is an avid athlete and was a 2013 finisher of the L'Étape du Tour, an event that allows amateur cyclists to race over the same route as the Tour de France.
"Mark is highly regarded by his clients and consistently achieves excellent results," said Kyle Mansfield, managing partner. "We're excited to welcome him to Foley & Mansfield, as he is an excellent lawyer with extensive experience in asbestos and product liability defense. Most importantly, Mark is a great complement to our existing roster of trial attorneys."
