Fifteenth Annual Wm. Matthew Byrne Judicial Clerkship Institute March 11-13, 2015
Message from the Director
We invite you to join us for Pepperdine's 15th annual Wm. Matthew Byrne Jr. Judicial Clerkship Institute, a program dedicated to promoting justice and the federal judiciary through training federal judicial law clerks. Every spring, federal judges and professors from across the country gather at Pepperdine and generously dedicate their time to providing current and future federal law clerks with the skills they need to become effective law clerks. The wisdom they share during the program is invaluable. We look forward to continuing to work with the American Bankruptcy Institute and Federal Judicial Center, who sponsor bankruptcy and career clerks to attend the conference. We invite term law clerks who will be beginning federal clerkships to enroll. Through the kindness of former law clerks and other friends of Judge Byrne, and also through Pepperdine University, we have travel scholarships available for a limited number of new clerks who would like to attend. We deeply appreciate the continued support of judges, professors, clerks, and students who have helped make this conference a success for over a decade. We look forward to meeting you.
