An audience of more than four hundred attended the program, “Integrating Contemporary Dispute Resolution Processes into Today’s Courts: A Conversation with National Experts,” at the 2018 Supreme Court of Ohio Dispute Resolution Conference, titled "Integrating Contemporary Dispute Resolution Processes into Today’s Courts." Stipanowich's comments commenced and concluded the plenary session moderated by OSU law professor and former Dean Nancy Rogers. Several Straus friends and visiting faculty, including Straus Senior Fellow Professor Dwight Golann, online dispute resolution guru Colin Rule, and family mediation expert Zena Zumeta, participated in the panel along with scholars, judges and dispute resolution professionals from around the United States. Stipanowich also presented a program titled “Mixed Mode Dispute Resolution: Exploring the Interplay between Mediation, Evaluation and Arbitration.”
