Federal Criminal Practicum

In the Federal Criminal Practicum students to rotate through the United States Attorney's Office, the Federal Public Defender's Office and U.S. District Court to receive a comprehensive experience at work in federal criminal practice. At each placement, students will observe pre-trial and trial practice and proceedings, assist on cases and produce a substantive written project under supervision. Students should plan to work at least 14 hours per week in the course. Law faculty specializing in criminal law and procedure will serve as advisors to students and will meet periodically to guide the students in their work.
