Clinical Education Program
The Pepperdine Clinical Education Program provides students with opportunities to practice law, work with clients, learn from expert practitioners, observe the work of lawyers and courts, grow as professionals, and seek justice in our communities. Students may choose from clinics and diverse externships and practicums.

How the Program Works
Our students gain perspective and skills that transfer to every aspect of their future careers. This is accomplished through:
Clinics
Students practice law under the supervision of law professors with real clients in high stakes environments.
JD Externships
Students work with practitioners and judges in hundreds of field placements throughout southern California, the nation, and the world.
MDR and LLM Externships
LLM Degree and Master's Degree students gain a realistic perspective on conflict and its effect and resolution in society.
Practicums
Students gain intensive experience in specialized field placements with our partners under expert guidance.
