The Pepperdine Law Review is pleased to invite you to a symposium discussing the status
of big-time college sports and legal issues facing college athletics today. The symposium
will consist of four panel discussions with leading academics, university leaders,
and practitioners in a variety of areas, including: a conversation with institutional
leaders of major intercollegiate athletic programs; a consideration of the possibility
of an antitrust exemption for the NCAA®; the impact of conference realignment, digital
media, broadcasting, and commercialization; and other emerging hot topics in college
sports.
This symposium has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credit by the State Bar of California for 6.75 credit hours. Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law certifies that this activity conforms
to the standards for approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations
of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education.
