MDR Cost of Attendance
All tuition is charged on a per unit basis for the Certificate, Master's, and LLM Degree Programs. Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $2480 per unit.
Our academic programs consist of the following units; Certificate 14 units, Master's 32 units and LLM 26 units.
Financial Aid
Students in the Graduate Law or Straus Institute's degree programs have several financial assistance options for funding their professional education. Extensive student loan programs, as well as payment plans to spread tuition payments over the time students are in school, are available. Additional information regarding financial aid can be found at the Financial Aid site. Students participating in a joint degree program with Straus need to refer to the financial aid department of their home university for additional funding, including GSBM, GSEP, and SPP.
Scholarships
All applicants are considered for scholarships at the point of application. For additional consideration, applicants can submit a scholarship statement outlining their circumstances and financial need to be reviewed by the admissions committee.

Estimate of Expenses
The below list is an estimate of expenses for students pursuing an academic program on a full-time basis. Programs are available on a part-time or full-time basis and personal expenses will vary depending on circumstances.
Students electing to participate in the clinics and externships may need to budget the additional expense of transportation. This may include the cost to purchase a vehicle and insurance.
Health insurance is required for all degree seeking students, but the fee may be waived with proof of insurance.
Room and Board are estimated expenses and will vary depending on on-campus or off-campus options. Tuition and Health Insurance are the only charges paid to the university directly if electing to live off-campus.
