Stipanowich is Named Distinguished Professor at National Law University, Delhi, and Delivers Lectures

Pepperdine law professor Tom Stipanowich and Straus Institute Academic Director is the first scholar from the U.S. to be sponsored by the Government of India and hosted by a National Law University in India for a series of lectures on international arbitration and dispute resolution. Stipanowich's lectures, which were presented March 20-23 at National Law University Delhi, are supported by the Indian Government's Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN), which provides students and other participants "an opportunity to seek knowledge and experience through intensive study of subjects taught by reputed international faculty/scholars."

Professor Stipanowich will follow Professor Upendra Bakshi from the University of Warwick, London, and Professor BB Pandey of Delhi University, Delhi, as the university's only distinguished professors of law. The announcement was made by National Law University Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ranbir Singh
