"Jordana brings a wealth of knowledge and intelligence to our leadership team," said John Scherer, president and CEO, Gulf Building LLC. "With her counsel, we are continuing to grow our commercial, residential and government construction lines of business."

Before joining Gulf, Jarjura's legal practice focused on procurement, government contracts, land use, and local government regulation. Among her most recent projects were: site plan approval for a 175-room hotel; site plan approval for an 850-unit, 6-acre, mixed-use marina and residential development; and site plan approval for an 18-story, 210-unit luxury apartment building. Jarjura also assisted in the successful defense of the largest shipyard in the United States. The shipyard had been improperly regulated by a local fire marshal for an industry-wide practice related to spray painting of yachts. Resolution required multi-government lobbying of the Florida chief financial officer in his capacity as the State Fire Marshal, the Broward Board of Rules and Appeals, the city of Fort Lauderdale and the local Fire Prevention Bureau.

In civic life, Jarjura serves as Deputy Vice-Mayor of the City of Delray Beach, Chair of the South Central Regional Wastewater and Disposal Treatment Board, and a board member of the Palm Beach County Metropolitan Planning Organization. She is a member of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, Old School Square, Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, and the Delray Beach Historical Society. Before being elected, Jarjura sat on the Delray's Planning and Zoning Board. She was also on Fort Lauderdale Beach Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board as a non-resident board member for her professional expertise. Jarjura has been AV Preeminent Peer Rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 2010. She was recognized by:

  • Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2009 and 2010

  • Daily Business Review as a Rising Star in the Top 40 under 40 in 2014

  • Lifestyle Media Group as Leaders in Law finalist for environmental law in 2014

  • Fortune magazine's Most Powerful Women in Business issue in 2015

Jarjura earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, a law degree from Pepperdine University's School of Law, and an MBA from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management.
