Straus Research Project is Focus of January Meeting of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration

Recent research undertaken by Professor Tom Stipanowich with the assistance of Straus Research Fellow Zach Ulrich was in the spotlight at the Winter Meeting of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) in Houston in January, 2015.  Stipanowich was one of three law professors whose work was the primary focus of the ITA meeting.  He spoke about key findings from a wide-ranging survey of practices and perspectives among experienced U.S. arbitrators that was undertaken with the cooperation of the College of Commercial Arbitrators.  Survey results and analysis have thus far appeared in three different articles, including two that will be published in tandem in a forthcoming issue of Columbia’s American Review of International Arbitration.
