Professor Maureen Weston Administers ABA Law Student National Arbitration Competition


Professor Maureen Arellano Weston helped administer the American Bar Association, Law School Division, National Arbitration Competition Finals, which took place on in Chicago on January 25-26.  Weston, along with her co-author on Understanding Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration: Law, Policy and Practice, Professor Kristen Blankley, have served on the ABA Law School Division Competitions Committee for nearly ten years and helped administer the arbitration competition in which over 180 law students nationwide participate. The competition helps students learn arbitration advocacy skills and practice and is judged by professional arbitrators and lawyers.
