Pepperdine Law Congratulates Emma Blackwood

Emma is our fifth bell-ringer in celebration of employment success!

Pepperdine Law's fifth bell-ringer in recognition of post-graduate employment success is Emma Blackwood! Emma was joined in the festivities by Dean Paul Caron, Associate Director of Career Development, Chalak Richards, and members of the Administration Offices and Deans' Suite. Special celebrants included Emma's parents, Anne and Duke Blackwood, and her classmates, Tiffanie Bittle and Claire Cundiff.

Emma is joining Niagara Bottling as associate corporate counsel. Niagara is an international manufacturing company that produces bottled water as well as other beverages. It is the largest supplier of private label bottled water in America.  Emma interned for Niagara's legal department this summer and was offered a part-time position during her 3L year, and a post-bar position at the end of her internship.

Emma earned her undergraduate degree in business management at Southern Methodist University (SMU), so going in-house was a natural path for her. While at Pepperdine Law, Emma has enjoyed being a Palmer fellow, participating in the international and IP law societies, and attending the London program last fall.  She is graduating in May with a Palmer certificate, international and comparative law certificate, and Straus certificate.

Congratulations to Emma!
