Pepperdine Caruso School of Law Summer 2020 Academic Schedule
Due to the ongoing global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has determined that the likelihood of safely resuming in-person classes in Malibu in May is very low. Therefore, the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law is announcing the following changes to its Summer 2020 academic schedule:
JD Summer Courses
Our 8-week summer JD program beginning on May 18, 2020, will be offered in an online
format. As you know, our faculty has been teaching online since 2017 in our MLS, MDR,
and LLM programs, and since March 16, 2020, in the final weeks of the Spring 2020
semester. These are the courses presently on the summer schedule:
- Constitutional Law Individual Rights (Professor Goodman)
- Remedies (Professor Ogden)
- Trial Practice (Professor Caldwell)
Due to an expected increase in demand, we will be adding at least one additional course and will be announcing the new course(s) soon.
In addition, we will likely be offering a second four-week JD intensive summer session beginning July 13, 2020. These courses will be offered either at our Malibu campus or online. We will announce the format of the classes by June 1, 2020, based on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic at that time.
Straus Institute For Dispute Resolution Summer Courses
All Straus Institute courses this summer will be offered online.
