Colleen Graffy Speaks on BBC World Service Radio Broadcast

Professor Colleen Graffy spoke on "Lawfare" and The Magnitsky Act during a recent broadcast for BBC World Service's "Weekend" program which is broadcast globally and on NPR throughout the United States.

Graffy described "Lawfare" as the actions by Ukraine to bring Russia before arbitral tribunals and international courts in Strasbourg and The Hague and discussed the efforts to extend The Magnitsky Act, which was passed in the U.S. after the brutal death of Sergei Magnitsky at the hands of the Russian government, to other countries. Britain and Canada have recently adopted the legislation which places sanctions on key Russian individuals believed to be responsible for Magnitsky's death.
