Clinical Professors Collaborate with Pepperdine Program

On Tuesday, January 30, Pepperdine Law Clinical Professors Jeff Baker and Tanya Cooper presented “Intimate Partner Abuse and The Church: Dissecting the Problem, Constructing Theories, and Implementing Cross-Cultural Responses” with Dr. Thema Bryant-Davis (GSEP) and Dr. Roslyn Satchel (Seaver) for early career pastors in Pepperdine’s Communitas Pastoral Leadership Program. The presentation was an abridged version from last fall’s conference, “In Search of Sanctuary: Strengthening the Church’s Response to Intimate Partner Violence.” This research is supported through Pepperdine’s Cross-School Collaborative Research Program.
