Abstract

This Note will provide an analysis of the Court's decision in Bragdon v. Abbott and detail those farreaching consequences. Part II provides an in-depth discussion of the facts surrounding the case. Part III explores the Americans with Disabilities Act, detailing the various elements of the Act and the regulations which have interpreted them. Part IV provides an analysis of the majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions. Part V discusses the practical impact of the Court's decision on employment and medical insurance coverage.  Finally, Part VI concludes this Note by commenting on how the Court reached the correct conclusion-the blessing of eradicating discrimination-using the wrong grounds.
