Abstract

Part I of this Article briefly explores the evolution of the various aspects of the doctor-patient relationship. Part II examines the various pressures that are being exerted against it by the managed care industry. Part III provides the key to the reconciliation and restoration of the relationship. Finally, in Part TV a brief conclusion is offered.
