Prison Project Attorney Application

The Sudreau Global Justice Institute is Pepperdine University’s international initiative that seeks to:

Strengthen Justice Systems
WE PARTNER WITH GOVERNMENTS AROUND THE WORLD to enhance local capacity and build more effective, efficient criminal justice systems that promote and protect human flourishing.

Defend the Defenseless
WE SEEK OUT THOSE SUFFERING INJUSTICE, and we work to represent them or advocate on their behalf.

Train the Next Generation
WE PROVIDE STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS academic training and hands-on international opportunities to advocate for those in need.

One of our most unique opportunities that further all three of these goals is our “Uganda Prison Project” where we invite lawyers and law students from the United States to travel to Uganda where they will team up with Ugandan lawyers and law students to represent Ugandans on pre-trial detention.
