
Stephen White
Biography
Stephen White serves as the Assistant Dean for Student Life at Pepperdine University Rick J. Caruso School of Law as well as the Co-Director of the Appellate Advocacy Program for Internal Competitions. Prior to his administrative role, Dean White served as an Assistant Professor of Legal Research and Writing, where he taught first-year law students the fundamental tenets of effective and powerful legal writing.
Dean White is an alumnus of Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2015. While at Pepperdine, Dean White served as the Business and Production Editor of Pepperdine Law Review, received the Parris Award for Excellence in Service, and was a Faculty Scholar. Prior to teaching at Pepperdine, Dean White clerked for the Honorable Bobby R. Baldock of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit from 2015-2017 and for the Honorable Joel M. Carson III of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit from 2018-2020. Dean White also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of New Mexico from 2020-2022, where he prosecuted federal criminal cases before both the Tenth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.
