Biography

Professor Selina Farrell is a California attorney, legal recruiting and placement specialist, and legal writing, academic support, and bar exam professional. She joined the Pepperdine Caruso Law faculty in 2007 where she teaches upper-division Legal Research and Writing courses and the Bar Exam Workshop. She also serves as the Associate Director of Academic Excellence and Graduate Employment. Previously, Professor Farrell taught Caruso Law’s first-year Legal Research and Writing course for several years. She also has seved as the law school’s Assistant and Associate Dean for Academic Excellence and Assistant Dean for Career Development.

Professor Farrell graduated first in her class from Pepperdine Caruso Law, where she  served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Pepperdine Law Review and won the best brief award in the Moriarity Moot Court competition. After law school, she worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins, where she specialized in corporate and partnership taxation. 

Professor Farrell has been honored to speak on legal writing, academic support, and law school career and professional development topics at Legal Writing Institute and National Association of Legal Professionals conferences.
