Samuel Wu
Biography
Professor Wu received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). After law school, he joined the Corporate and Securities Group of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. In 2010, he co-founded Innovation Capital Law Group specializing in working with technology startups and is currently the lead partner for the Corporate and Securities Group of the firm. He is a startup attorney representing technology and emerging growth companies. His legal expertise and practice involve corporate formation, corporate governance, corporate financings (venture capital and angel financings) mergers and acquisitions, licensing transactions, and initial public offerings. Professor Wu has represented some of the leading public and private technology companies, investment banks (such as Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs), entrepreneurs, technology and emerging growth startups, venture capital firms and angel investors. He has represented companies in approximately over $5 billion in private financings, mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.
