Biography
Kerstin Leistner is Director of the Harnish Law Library at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. She earned her B.A. in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she served as Chief Research Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. Following law school, she worked in private practice before earning her M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University.
Director Leistner currently serves as the editor of Annuals and Surveys Appearing in Legal Periodicals. Since joining the Harnish Law Library in 2019, she has taught Advanced Legal Research and assisted with assessment efforts at the Law School. She is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Southern California Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SCALL) and serves on committees of the associations and their special interest sections.
