Biography
Mr. Brent Nibecker is a supervising deputy district attorney for the Ventura County District Attorney's Office. He currently supervises the District Attorney's Sexual Assault and Family Protection Unit. In that capacity he leads a team of roughly 20 prosecutors who handle sexual assault, child molestation, domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse and human trafficking cases. Mr. Nibecker previously supervised the District Attorney's Misdemeanor Unit where he was responsible for training new prosecutors.
As a trial prosecutor, Mr. Nibecker has primarily prosecuted domestic violence and child molestation cases. Outside of the courtroom he has drafted legislation and serves as an instructor at the Ventura County Sheriff's Academy. Mr. Nibecker is also the president of the Ventura County Prosecutor's Association. He attended Pepperdine Caruso School of Law where his greatest achievement was co-founding the annual dodgeball tournament. Mr. Nibecker lives in Camarillo with his wife and their four children. He graduated with his J.D. from Pepperdine in 2007, cum laude.
