Jill Talley (JD '95) Appointed to Superior Court Judgeship

Talley appointed by Governor Brown to Sacramento Superior Court


Pepperdine Law alumna Jill H. Talley (JD ’95) has been appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to the Sacramento Superior Court. Talley fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Robert C. Hight.

Talley has served as chief counsel at the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services since 2014, and has been an adjunct professor at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento since 2012. She served in several positions with the Office of the Attorney General from 2002 to 2014, including supervising deputy attorney general and deputy attorney general. She also has served as an associate and partner in area law firms. Talley earned a juris doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
