Biography

Professor Selina Farrell is a California attorney, a legal writing, academic support, and bar exam professional, and a legal recruiting and placement specialist. She joined the Pepperdine Caruso Law faculty in 2007 where she teaches upper-division Legal Research and Writing courses and the Bar Exam Workshop. She serves as the law school’s Assistant Dean of Academic Mastery, Bar Preparation, and Graduate Employment.

Professor Farrell graduated first in her class from Pepperdine Caruso Law, where she  served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Pepperdine Law Review and won the best brief award in the Dalsimer Moot Court competition. After law school, she worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins, where she specialized in corporate and partnership taxation. 

Professor Farrell has been honored to speak on legal writing, academic support, and law school career and professional development topics at Legal Writing Institute and National Association of Legal Professionals conferences.
