Biography
Since 2007, Leslie has served as associate general counsel for Brasfield & Gorrie, L.L.C., an ENR top 100 commercial general contractor.
Prior to joining B & G, she practiced construction litigation based in Orlando, FL, handling many types of construction disputes on behalf of owners and general contractors in Florida and in other parts of the country. During her private practice career, she was a partner with Greenberg Traurig, P.A., Holland & Knight, LLP and McDonough, O'Neal & O'Dell. She has been active in the ABA Forum on Construction Law throughout her career, serving on the Governing Committee and as Chair from 1996-1997. She is a Fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers, where she served on the Board of Directors. She is a frequent speaker at construction and trade association meetings and has published numerous articles and contributed to several books on construction-related topics.
In 2019 she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Construction Law Committee of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section. She graduated from the University of Florida and the University of Florida College of Law.
