
Kelsey Morris
Biography
Professor Kelsey Morris teaches Legal Research and Writing and serves as Co-Director of the Appellate Advocacy Program for Internal Competitions.
Before joining Pepperdine, Professor Morris was a Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she represented clients in consumer class actions and intellectual property disputes involving innovative and emerging consumer-facing technology. Between years of practicing at Akin, Professor Morris served as a law clerk to the Honorable André Birotte Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and taught legal research and writing as a lecturer in law at University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
Professor Morris received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2011, graduating as a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. Professor Morris attended Pepperdine as a Faculty Scholar, and during law school, served as an Associate Editor for Pepperdine Law Review and competed on the Moot Court Team and Trial Advocacy Team.
