Biography

John Niemeyer is an associate in the Complex Commercial Litigation group at Latham & Watkins LLP. His practice focuses on representing policyholders in high-stakes insurance coverage and bad faith litigation and counsels clients on strategies for maximizing insurance coverage. Mr. Niemeyer has handled a range of insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, including claims for coverage under commercial general liability and excess policies, and directors and officers' liability policies. Mr. Niemeyer also has significant experience advising clients on the strategic management of insurance portfolios, including evaluating D&O policy terms, and negotiating improvements in policy language.

While at Pepperdine Law School, Mr. Niemeyer served as the note and comment editor for the Pepperdine Law Review and was the Co-Chair of Pepperdine's Interschool Moot Court team. He graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
