Locations

In an effort to provide courses that meet the needs of professional students, the Straus Institute offers academic courses in two locations; Malibu and Irvine. The Malibu campus offers courses in the traditional 15 week format, in addition to a few two weekend courses during the Fall and the Spring. During the summer, courses are only offered in a one week and two weekend format.

The Irvine campus attracts student in the Orange County and San Diego area, as well as commuting students who fly in from locations across the nation including Texas, New Jersey, Tennessee, Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina and Arizona. Across from the John Wayne Airport, the Orange County campus provides students an opportunity to complete the program on a part-time basis by participating in two weekend format courses throughout the year.

Students taking classes towards a JD degree cannot take courses at the Irvine campus, unless given special permission by the Dean.
