Wm. Matthew Byrne, Jr., Judicial Clerkship Institute
Each year, Pepperdine University School of Law brings law students from across the country to its campus for the Wm. Matthew Byrne, Jr., Judicial Clerkship Institute (Byrne JCI). Through the Byrne JCI, students who have been accepted into federal judicial clerkship positions have the opportunity to gain distinctive, comprehensive training by federal judges. In the past sixteen years, students from more than 177 different law schools clerking for more than 794 different judges have attended the program, making it a unique resource for promoting the administration of justice in our federal courts.
We are excited to invite you to join Pepperdine's 17th annual Wm. Matthew Byrne Jr., Judicial Clerkship Institute, a program dedicated to the promotion of justice and the federal judiciary through the training of law clerks.
Judge Matt Byrne had a magnetic personality. At his memorial service, speakers noted that ever so many people thought they were Matt's best friend.
Friends and family of JCI have come together to help raise $3 million dollars for an endowment that provides scholarships to students from around the nation who attend this conference.
Registration for the 17th Annual JCI can be found here.
