The Juris Doctor is awarded after the successful completion of 88 units of course study over three years, of which approximately 57 units are required courses. Law school grades are assigned on a numeric scale of 55 - 100, and students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 72 each year in order to continue. First-year classes have a mandatory median of 78.
