Pepperdine Announces the New Seegmiller Scholarship
Pepperdine University School of Law is proud to announce the donation of a Full-Tuition Scholarship for the LLM in Dispute Resolution program. This donation is made by The Seegmiller Law Firm headquartered in Newport Beach serving those who need legal services in both California and Nevada. The Seegmiller scholarship is available to applicants from Korea looking to earn a LLM in Dispute Resolution, including a concentration in international commercial arbitration.
Since 1981, members of The Seegmiller Law Firm have faithfully served injured people and their families with compassion and skill. The firm specializes in handling serious cases many times involving the death of a loved one. The firm sees its role in these cases to seek justice and assist in the healing process.
Mr. Seegmiller values a well-rounded education. He has a philosophy to never stop learning. After graduating from the University of California Davis, he went on to earn his master's degree at the University of Southern California and attended the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers and The Jerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. He is currently enrolled with his son in the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution program. He chose the Pepperdine program because it was internationally recognized and ranked first in the United States.
Scott Seegmiller lived in Pusan for two years, is fluent in Korean and has an affinity for the Korean people. As a result, the Seegmiller Law Firm will be donating a full-tuition scholarship for an LLM applicant from Korea.
Applications for the Fall are now being accepted online through LSAC or via the paper application form. Applicants for the Seegmiller scholarship should send a two-page letter explaining why they should be selected with their application.
