Uganda Fellow: Details & Eligibility

The fellow applies in the September prior to the year spent abroad. Interviews with applicants and final decisions take place in October. The fellow begins his/her work the following September with training and orientation for two-weeks with the current fellow. Fellows typically fly home in December for the holidays.
The Uganda fellow is paid $40,000 in two installments of $20,000. The first payment comes in August before departing for Uganda and the second payment is made in January of the new year.
