November 1, 2018  | 1 min read

Pepperdine Law hosted the very successful For People of Color Law School Admissions Conference on October 20, which was attended by over 200 participants. The all-day conference provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the law school application process and included panels of laws students, professors, and lawyers who shared their pathways to law school and the legal profession.  The participants were welcomed by Dean Paul Caron, Associate Dean Shannon Phillips, and the founder of For People of Color, Inc, Anthony Solana, Jr. The keynote address was delivered by Pepperdine Law alumnus and Federal District Judge Andre Birotte (JD '91). The faculty panel featured professors Christine Goodman, Jeff Baker, Ahmed Taha, and Sukhsimranjit Singh.
