Program Requirements

Required Courses

6 Units of the Following Foundational Courses:*

*Note: LLM students with foreign law degrees are required to take Introduction to U.S. Law and Legal Research and Writing in addition to the other foundational courses.

Students pursuing the LLM in Entertainment, Media and Sports Law are required to complete at least one 2-unit EMS relevant externship

Externship Forms

Independent Study

Students pursuing the LLM in Entertainment, Media and Sports Law are required to complete an LLM Independent Study Project.  International students electing to sit for the California Bar Exam may waive out of the Independent Study requirement.
