Pepperdine University School of Law has
given more than $122,000 to 51 students for national
and international public interest work this summer.
Ambassador to Malta by President Obama
Douglas W. Kmiec, Pepperdine's
Caruso Family Chair in Constitutional Law, was appointed to
be ambassador to the Republic of Malta by President Barak
Obama on July 2.

Dean Starr Prevails
in U.S. Supreme Court Case Horne v. Flores
The United States Supreme Court
ruled 5-4 in favor of Dean Kenneth Starr's clients, the
speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives and the
President of the Arizona Senate, on Thursday, June 25, in
the case of Horne v. Flores.
