Waves of Giving

Dear Pepperdine Law Alumni and Friends:

I am so deeply grateful for your generous support of the 2012 Waves of Giving campaign for the benefit of the Pepperdine University School of Law. This is such an important annual way to make a big difference for our law school. This year you and others made possible significant enhancements for student scholarships, facilities, and many outstanding programs like the law review symposium and the award-winning trial and appellate advocacy programs. I am humbled that in these tough and uncertain economic times the Waves of Giving gifts totaled more than $500,000.

These are challenging times in legal education. Your support makes such a difference in our ability to continue to serve our students and enhance our national reputation. It is a privilege to serve as Dean at this law school where alumni and friends take so seriously their stewardship responsibility for enriching the legal profession: By supporting the law school, you have assisted in educating lawyers who will in turn serve the community and the profession as models of purpose, service, and leadership.
