International Study Tours

The Straus Institute offers students and working professionals two international study tours to get a glimpse of the dispute resolution practices in London/Geneva and Hong Kong/Beijing. These 10 day study tours give the participant a unique opportunity to learn about the various dispute resolution practices used in Europe and Asia. Students will meet with administrators for the leading dispute resolution organizations, as well as court administrators, and corporate and local law firms.

Both of these programs are offered as 2 unit elective courses for students studying at Pepperdine or visiting students from ABA accredited institutions. Lawyers, Judges and non-law professionals in the field looking to learn about international dispute resolution can also audit either study tour program.

The Straus Institute plans to offer the International Study tours on the following schedule:

• Summer 2013 - London/Geneva
  May 20 - 31, 2013
• Summer 2014 - Hong Kong/Beijing
