Martin Handweiler is a mediator in Newport Beach, California, specializing in personal injury and medical and legal malpractice.
1974
Terry Giles was honored by Northwood University at its 26th Annual Outstanding Business Leaders Awards ceremony at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.
1976
Stephan Saleson is a judge for the San Bernardino County Superior Court in Southern California.
1977
William Sims retired from federal civil service and the United States Army Reserves. He teaches part-time at a community college in Santa Ana, California.
1978
Robert Cardwell completed his 10th New York City Marathon in November 2005 to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.
John Fielder was named president of Southern California Edison.
Douglas Miller was nominated by Arnold Schwarzenegger as a justice in the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division Two. He was previously a judge pro tem for the Riverside Supreme Court from 1982 to 1995, and worked as an associate and partner for the Law Offices of Thomas T. Anderson from 1978 to 1995.
1979
Stephen J. Schanz is teaching Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at North Carolina State University.
1981
Thomas Mascola was recently appointed a judge in South Nyack, New York.
1983
Rick Caruso was featured on the cover of Pasadena Weekly magazine for his successful retail development projects in Southern California, which include Encino Marketplace and The Grove in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Tina, were honored June 1 with the 2006 Visionary Award for their displayed commitment to Southern California, especially in the areas of at-risk inner city children, education, health care, and public safety.
Thomas A. Fessler relocated to Sacramento, California, where he accepted a position as vice president and general counsel of VSP, a nonprofit vision benefit provider and the nation's largest provider of eye care coverage. He is also on the School of Law's Board of Visitors.
1984
Ray Boucher was honored on May 11, 2006, with the Justice Armand Arabian Award by the Project Sister Sexual Assault Crisis and Prevention Services at their Healing the Heart Dinner and Auction. The award recognizes his work defending victims of sexual assault in the priest-abuse cases.
James Rishwain, Jr., was elected the chairman and chief executive officer of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, one of the nation's oldest and largest law firms.
1985
Susan I. Strong was appointed a judge of Lancaster County in Nebraska where she lives with her husband, Scott Henninger, and two teenage daughters.
1989
Lynn (Waller) Kelly is the assistant vice president and legal counsel for D. R. Horton Incorporated in Fort Worth, Texas.
1991
Gordon Haughchild recently joined the Seattle office of Jackson & Wallace as senior counsel. John McGoldrick joined the Kavinoky Law Firm, a California criminal defense firm, as a client relations specialist.
Geoffrey Jones has been appointed general counsel of the KKR Strategic Capital Fund for KKR Financial Corporation.
1992
Nick Kublicki and his wife, Molly, welcomed their daughter, Ava Kublicki on February 15, 2006.
1993
Marc Barson joined Starz Entertainment Group as vice president of business affairs, production. He will be responsible for business affairs for all Starz productions, coproductions, in-house micro-series and interstitials. He will also oversee business affairs for promotions of Starz's original long-form productions, documentaries, and television series.
Christopher V. Carlyle, of Carlyle Appellate Law Firm, was recently board certified in appellate practice by the Florida Bar. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has an extensive background in appellate law and commercial litigation.
James Friedl has been appointed the general manager of the Conejo Recreation and Park District in Southern California.
Kelly Kilgore is owner of the Law Office of Charles Kelly Kilgore in Los Angeles, California.
Judith Levey Meyer was named to the Los Angeles Superior Court by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in August 2006. Meyer, who was previously the city's deputy district attorney, was elected in June to succeed the retiring Judge Stephen Petersen. She was sworn into office in early September 2006.
Richard Turner was promoted to senior vice president of business affairs, programming, for Starz Entertainment Group in Los Angeles. He will provide strategic guidance on SEG's acquisition of content, productions, new media ventures, and marketing and promotions. Turner has been with SEG for seven years, most recently serving as vice president of business affairs and programming.
1994
Michael Betz and his wife, Cristina, welcomed their second child, Hillary Marie, on April 22, 2006. He is a partner at Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble & Mallory. Nair Flores began working as patent counsel for Yahoo! In July, 2006.
Daniel Hoffer left his work with the FBI in 1998 to join the law firm Loeb & Loeb.
Sarah Sangmeister was named a Rising Star at Keesal, Young & Logan in the 2006 issue of Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.
Barbara Stettner (MBA '93, Graziadio) is a partner with O'Melveny & Myers and resident at the firm's Washington, D.C., office.
1995
Robert Ming has been appointed a city council member in Laguna Niguel, California, where he lives with his wife, Susie, and two children, Jonathan, 10, and Katie, 8.
Michael Rozales and Kim Honus Finestone started their own real estate brokerage firm in Beverly Hills, California. The Realty Consultant Group specializes in highend residential and investment properties.

Kelly Anders is associate dean for student affairs at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.
Janean (Bennett) Marino married Jonathan Marino on October 30, 2004, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Corinne Miller Adams is a family wealth advisor and vice president of Asset Management Advisors, a firm advising ultra-highnet- worth families. She married Jordan Adams at St. Pete Beach, Florida, and splits her time between St. Petersburg and Jupiter, Florida.

Michele Maryott is a partner with the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a litigation associate at the firm's Orange County, California, office.
Gregory P. Regier (BA '92, Seaver), a land use attorney with Jackson, Demarco, Tidus & Peckenpaugh, was named a Rising Star in the 2006 issue of Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.

Mishawn (Yarovesky) Nolan is a partner with Greenberg & Bass. In 2005, she was recognized as a rising star in the California legal community by Law & Politics and Southern California Super Lawyers magazines. She was also selected as one of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal's "40 Under 40" emerging business leaders.
Anissa D. Seymour is a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman, defending securities actions and government investigations against public companies, public company officers and directors, accounting firms, and forensic accountants.
1999
Eric Nelson and his wife, Angie, welcomed their son, Benjamin, on March 28, 2006.
Thomas Rice was named one of Texas Monthly's Texas Rising Stars in February 2006. He is one of 12 attorneys from the law firm Cox Smith Matthews who have received the honor.
2000
Robert Cohen and his wife, Amy, welcomed daughter, Brooklyn Renee, on December 2, 2005.
Keith Schulner (MBA '00, Graziadio) is a member of the Kaiser Permanente Arbitration Panel in association with his mediation arbitration business, Neutral4Hire.com.
Julie R. Trotter was named a Rising Star by Los Angeles Magazine in a fall 2005 survey.
Dena (Sohn) Carreyn (BA '96, Seaver) is active as a L.A. City Attorney and was featured in Downtown News for her work in prosecuting quality-of-life crimes in Downtown L.A.
Andrew Braniff and his wife, Mimi ('99), had a baby boy, Owen, on February 7, 2006.

Kimberly Cole and her husband, Taylor, welcomed twins in September 2005.
Kimberly Horsley Allen and her husband, Matthew, welcomed their daughter, Avery, in September 2005.
Zach Larson and his wife, Shara, had twin boys on May 18, 2006.
David R. Sugden (BA '98, Seaver), is a shareholder of the firm Call, Jensen & Ferrell. He was named a Rising Star by Los Angeles Magazine in a fall 2005 survey.
Daniel W. Vandenbroek joined the law firm of Miller Johnson in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as an associate.

Suzanne (Baker) Freyer and her husband, Peter, welcomed their daughter, Brooke, on January 24, 2006.
David Block was named the Wall Street Journal's pick for the No. 1 Analyst in the Food and Tobacco Sector for 2005. He recently moved to New York to open his own firm, Block Capital Partners.
Josef Bobek III relocated to Los Angeles and joined Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro as a real estate associate.
Dan Droog and his wife, Julie, welcomed their daughter, Eden, on July 6, 2006.
Christopher Ellison works at the offices of Arias, Ozzello & Gignac in Westchester, California, and is the varsity football coach at Hawthorne High School.
Dan Polage is an attorney in the district court unit of the Yakima County prosecutor's office in Washington State.

2003
Alex Bernstein enjoyed the production of four of his original comedies. He directed the comedies as produced by the 5150 Theater Group in San Francisco in May 2006.
Brett Fenoglio completed FBI training in summer 2006 and is based in the San Diego office.
Jared Johnson is counsel in the practice of international corporate and construction law and dispute resolution at Harmon & Davies in Lancaster, California.
Rachel Kirkley is a tax and estate planning associate for the Sacramento, California, law firm of Boutin Dentino.
Buffy Lord is an attorney in the area of civil litigation with Donovan & O'Connor. She lives with her husband in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Renato "Reno" Cervantes and Janet G. (Uhler) Cervantes (SOL '03) were married May 7, 2005. Reno is a deputy district attorney for Riverside County and Janet is an associate at Guralnick & Gilliland.
2005
Heather Borden is a district attorney for the Los Angles County District Attorney's office. Amy Gobster joined Quarles & Brady Streich Lang as an associate in the firm's growing Health Law Practice Group in Phoenix, Arizona. Her practice includes advising clients on regulatory issues and defending clients before professional boards.
Courtney K. Lang joined the Office of General Counsel at Princeton University as the assistant general counsel. Eric Mark is an assistant prosecutor with Somerset County prosecutor's office in New Jersey.
Timothy Osborn is an associate attorney with the Los Angeles-based law firm Fletcher, White & Adair.
