How to Apply

Pepperdine School of Law students entering their second year of study in Fall 2016 may apply to become Palmer Center Fellows. The application deadline is Thursday, August 4, 2016. Students enrolled in the JD/MBA program at Pepperdine University, and who have more than one year of law school curriculum remaining as of the application deadline, may also apply.

Depending on the number of applications received, the Palmer Center may limit the number of new students admitted into the Palmer Center. Applicants will be considered based upon the strength of the materials submitted as well as a personal interview with a Palmer Center Staff member.

To apply to become a Palmer Center Fellow, please submit the following:

  • A current resume
  • An official law school transcript (to obtain this, download the Palmer Center transcript request form and submit it to the law school's Admissions, Student Information and Services Office). Students on academic probation are welcome to attend Palmer Center events but may not become Palmer Center Fellows.
  • A one-page essay discussing your interest in a Palmer Center Fellowship, how you may benefit the Palmer Center, and any other information you wish to provide.
  • A completed course grid showing your proposed course of study at the Palmer Center (Please download the Palmer Center Course Requirement Grid).
