Organizations late on submitting papers to be recognized as a student org one organization wondering if could still submit there is no real reason why theyre late.
Entertainment Sports Law Society submitted their paperwork late leadership in group is about to change over.
Repercussions of turning in paperwork late is that the club wont be recognized as a club and wont get their money from SBA.
All student orgs have been informed of these deadlines and the deadline has already been extended once.

A. Student Groups
1. Christian Legal Society: Proposal for social event. Not just a social event however, will help involvement. Student funds arent being used. Worried about precedent. Since only approximately 20 people can go b/c limited in capacity, concerned that this event doesnt help the entire organization. Some would like to support the society b/c of importance on campus. SBA has supported the CLS in the past for large organization events.
Rogers makes motion to not give anything. Motion dropped.
2. BLSA: Ferguson presents BLSA putting together dinner for 3Ls. Total of 15 people, including alums and faculty advisors. Alumni panel will speak on how to pass the bar. Amount requested is $400. Whatever they dont make can possibly be made up in fundraising.
a. How much of the $150 has been used? Have had a panel eariler in semester and meeting with pizza recently.
b. Comparing the need for the funds here with the money requested by the CLS.
c. Not a problem with giving $400, but the concern is that there are approximately ten students invited.
d. More information is needed.

3. Asian-American Law Society: From what we did last week with the Trial Practice Association, SBA should cover at least the registraion, accomodation and transportation costs which would be $1072. They requested approximately $1800.
