Cochran Featured in Christianity Today

Bob Cochran, the Louis D. Brandeis Professor of Law and director of the Herb and Elinor Nootbaar Institute on Law, Religion, and Ethics, was featured in the August issue of Christianity Today in an article titled "Redeeming Law."

Professor Cochran discussed being a Christian, his vocation in the law, and what it means for Pepperdine to be a Christian law school. "Pepperdine has always had a strong Christian emphasis," said Cochran, but in recent years "there's been more thinking about the implications of being a Christian on being a lawyer and on the law."

Professors Doug Kmiec and Rob Anderson as well as School of Law Dean Emeritus Ron Phillips and University Provost Darryl Tippens were also quoted in the piece.
