WELCOME!

Day-of Instructions

Directions and Parking

The conference will take place at the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law located on the Malibu Campus. Upon arrival, you will pass through a guard booth. Please stop and let the guard know that you will be attending the Nootbaar Conference at the Caruso School of Law. The guard will give you a visitor pass to put on your dashboard and will direct you to parking. We strongly suggest arriving early as it grows scarce by 9 a.m. Park in lot F directly across and up the hill from the law school, the entrance is located off of Baxter Drive. I have included a map at the bottom of this page for your reference.

Check-In

Once you arrive at the Law School, enter through the main entrance where you will be directed to the check-in table. Upon check-in you will receive a schedule for the day and directions to breakfast and the classroom where the first plenary sessions will take place. The welcome address will begin promptly at the designated time in the schedule.

MCLE Credit

Hotels

If you are seeking a hotel during the conference, below are some of the recommended hotels. Due to the nature of the conference this year, we do not have group rates at these hotels.

Graziadio Executive Center

Located on Pepperdine's Campus, the Executive Center is a convenient and very nice place to stay while attending the conference.

Hilton Garden Inn

Located in Calabasas, the Hilton Garden Inn is about a 30 minute drive from the Caruso School of Law through Malibu Canyon.

Malibu Country Inn

Located 10 minutes north of Pepperdine's campus off of PCH, the Inn is a great option for those interested in exploring Malibu.

Transportation Suggestions

If you have not yet arranged for transportation during the conference, below are our recommendations. If you do not rent a vehicle and anticipate using a shuttle or private hire from LAX, UBER or Lyft are great alternatives.
