Palmer Center Hosts Intellectual Property Lecture

School of Law Pepperdine University’s Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law  sponsored a lecture entitled, "The Role of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Protecting IP Rights," on Tuesday, Nov. 27 in the Mendenhall Appellate Courtroom.

The distinguished speaker was Orobola Fasehun, director of the World International Property Organization (WIPO) Coordination Office in New York. WIPO is a specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to developing a balanced and accessible international intellectual property system.

Through its innovative 16-unit certificate program, the Palmer Center provides a complementary addition to the high-caliber programs available at Pepperdine School of Law and is unrivaled among law schools programs in its dual-focus on entrepreneurship and law. The Palmer Center provides its students (called "Fellows") with the necessary education and training to succeed in the fields of business, finance, real estate, entertainment, intellectual property, and technology.
