Straus Institute Hosts 23rd Annual Summer Professional Skills Program

Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution will host the 23rd Annual Summer Professional Skills Program in Dispute Resolution, June 10-12, at the School of Law in Malibu, California.

Featuring a panel of nationally recognized experts in dispute resolution, the program provides three days of educational opportunities for practicing professionals. In 2009 the 22nd Annual Professional Skills Program drew over 210 participants from 23 states and 3 foreign countries.

The 23rd annual program will feature the participants from all over the world, who will come together to network with nationally prominent faculty and participants from the other specialties at plenary sessions, lunches, and receptions.

Courses on topics such as advanced mediation, negotiation, family law, ombuds training, and neuro-collaboration will be offered.

Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution is one of the world’s leading educational programs in the field of dispute resolution and has been ranked Number One by U.S. News and World Report for six consecutive years. Straus offers two tracks of training: professional training programs and academic programs in dispute resolution including the Certificate, Master's (MDR) and LLM in Dispute Resolution.
