The five schools of Pepperdine have joined forces to stage more than 50 events for the University's first annual Career Week, beginning Monday, Feb. 2. The workshops, networking events, alumni presentations, entertainment events, and drop-in services will take place across the Malibu, Drescher Graduate, Irvine, West Los Angeles, Westlake Village, and Encino campuses until Friday, Feb. 6.
The first annual Pepperdine Career Week offers dozens of programs for students making the transition from classroom to career and alumni seeking to advance their career.
Events at the School of Law began on Monday, Feb. 2, with "A Day in the life of a District Attorney." Three Los Angeles District Attorneys, Priscilla Musso, Sarika Kapoor, and Robert Dver discussed how to become a district attorney, their daily work, and why they chose the profession.
Another event titled "Careers in International Law," will be held on Feb. 4, from 12:30-1:20 p.m. in Room C. The presenters will be Brent Caslin, of Kirkland & Ellis, and James Bang, of Mitchell Silberberg. Caslin and Bang will talk about working with clients or matters involving East Asia.
